In the Austin Rhetoric Club last Friday we learned about linguistic chiastic structures with peripety. (Eg. "Ask not what your country can do for you, but rather what you can do for your country.) or (Christ has risen, resurrection indeed is from Christ). I ought to post my notes on ARC's website.

In commenting about the above topic how about, 2 Corinthians 5:21: For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Righteousness of God He who knew no sin
                                                                             X
to be sin for us We become the righteousness of God in Him

Jesus takes our apostasy in this Chiastic Structure and replaces the sin, "apoptosis", or the dead cancer cells as you call them, that we might become the living cells, we "must decrease so He might increase." "Every branch in Me that bears no fruit, He takes away...We are clean through the Word He has spoken."
The peripety or turning point of destiny of this chiasm we could say is Jesus' rhema word spoken to our souls, burning in our hearts. "Didn't our hearts burn within us as He opened up the scriptures to us as we walked along the way."
